Apni Mehndi is the creative endeavor of Gurpreet, an internationally recognized Mehndi artist whose passion for the intricate art of henna began at just 16 years old. After a decade of refining her craft while balancing a full-time career in finance, Gurpreet took the leap in 2021 to pursue her passion full-time. Originally based in London, UK, Gurpreet launched her brand Apni Mehndi in April 2023, introducing a product line and rebranding her services from the former ‘Mehndi by Gurps.’ Now based in South Surrey, BC, after relocating to Vancouver in September 2023, Gurpreet specializes in detailed shapes, fine gridwork, and intricate floral designs, showcasing versatility in styles inspired by artists worldwide. Known for her ability to capture her clients' vision, Gurpreet prioritizes quality, ensuring every client, especially brides, enjoys a memorable and satisfying mehndi experience.
